Drive Thru Prayer started with a sincere question and a powerful answer. One day in 2016, while standing in the Fellowship Hall at church, I was watching cars drive by and said to the Lord, "I wish I knew what was going on in their life." As another car drove by, I said the same thing to God. The Lord very clearly impressed upon me this answer, "Go stand outside and ask them." The Lord reassured me that people would stop in for prayer.

While I had a vision for such a parking lot prayer ministry for many years, it was not until 2022 that the Lord unleashed its full potential by bringing together passionate ministry leaders and volunteers from across the spectrum of Trinity’s congregation, as well as several other Bible-believing churches.

Whether or not your church participates in Drive Thru Prayer, Walk Thru Prayer, or Break Thru Prayer, you can join the global "I Prayed Today" prayer movement. We will help you get started with the logo to print and share as you pray for others. When you pray for them. simply give them a sticker to wear that will remind them that someone prayed for them, to encourage them, and to start conversations about prayer. You can also direct them to iprayedtoday.com to submit their prayer requests.

How did "I Prayed Today" get started? It was July in the Arizona desert during an incredible 12-hour Drive Thru Prayer Day. Our Prayer Warriors stood outside offering prayer from morning until early evening. As they prayed for people who stopped for urgent prayer, they gave them an "I Prayed Today" sticker. As I was looking at the sticker, I sensed the Lord saying, "God to your office right now and search for iprayedtoday.com and iprayedtoday.org. I immediately went to my office and, remarkably, both URLs were available. After securing them and building this page, we are doing what the Lord has instructed us to do...to freely share the "I Prayed Today" stickers with churches around the world.

To get started, simply download the "I Prayed Today" logo and print it on your favorite labels or have a local printer print it for you. I Prayed Today is a companion ministry to Drive Thru Prayer (DTP). Our vision is one prayer site for every 10,000 people worldwide by the year 2050. At that point, there will be roughly four million Prayer Warriors of Drive Thru Prayer praying for 400 million people every year.

​

By 2070 our goal is to specifically pray for every single person on the planet at least once. To make this vision become a reality, our goal is 40,000 DTP Prayer Warriors around the world who are sharing the life-changing message of hope in Christ by helping others start DTP at their church.
